rugby is just an excuse for poofy men to have a roll in the dirt together and feel each others' bits. dread to think what happens in the showers afterwards!

why ask this in the rugby section? and football is a poofy game players have only got to brush up together and they are rolling on the floor and rugby is a much more skillful game and more scoring = more exciting

I think rugby is great but I hate football. If you don't like something don't watch it.

I love the Gimp's answer! But for me, rugby is about watching some well-built men running around in their shorts getting all hot and sweaty, I have no idea what the rules of the game are, but a bit of mud-wrestling and lots of firm male hairy thighs gets me all a-quiver on a Saturday afternoon!

You dont have to watch it!
Why not just look at your poster collection of David Beckham instead, That would cheer you up I'm sure.
P.s I thought the Gimp would have enjoyed playing with men with odd shaped balls! lol
Only kidding Big G!

Couldn`t agree more, there is no skill in it. It might be fun to play, but it is incredibly dull to watch. I play badminton to a good standard, but I have never watched a game on the telly for at least a decade. Why? Because it is not a spectator sport to the serious sports fan. The only time I will watch a game I am not playing in, is when I am trying to work out an opponents tactics.
