They wait outside stores that carry a sign "help wanted" but wont apply.. They sleep under road bridges when they could sleep in comfort.. They make a few dollars a day while they could make 50 bucks a day.... Are they Lazy or have Criminal Records or Why wont they work?

Some panhandlers make more money than you think. Why would they get a job when they have a job mooching off of others?
Only when everyone stops giving handouts to panhandlers (and instead gives resources for training, employment, and education) will the panhandlers find "real" jobs.

Panhandlers are wealthy, many own properties. Panhandling is their JOB. What other job can you have that people give you money for doing nothing but look like a waif and then not need to pay any taxes on any money received?

these guys make good money, Beggers and squeegee kids make up to $200 / day tax free. The people giving "Spare change" cause more beggars to come.
When you give stuff for free, there will always be a hand waiting to recive it.
That's why you aren't allowed to feed wildlife, you cause dependency.

They would be expected to show up for them, clean and sober, on time, every day, properly dressed, and to do what their boss tells them to do.
I think this is quite hard, but I do it 5 days a week without complaining.

would you hire a homeless person if you didnt run a mcdonalds? everyone says get a job, but most households have to have 2 jobs to survive. im sick of stuff like this, they are people who got boned by the system, and we look at them with disgust. remember that in order to take advantage of the land of opportunity, you must first have one

You got it , they dont want to work= work would mean they'd have to rent a place .buy clothes, clean-up. The American people made these people this way, do to lay-offs, ignorance, and selfishness, and you wonder why. Its just the way some people are.

That is their choice. Certainly, I would not want to live that way. Nobody is stopping them from getting a job. For whatever reason, they prefer their lifestyle.

I'm sure business owners are not in a huge rush to hire panhandlers or other homeless people...

hopefully we will never have to walk in their shoes to find out. everyone has their own story to tell as to why they are where they are. Don't be so quick to judge unless you have walked in their shoes.
