I would go to my parents home at night .and clean their entire home for them.without making noise.they both had bad backs.my mother would call me the next day, oh! a Fairy came and cleaned the house last night!!
But YES!! I really do believe in real fairy's.theirs so much I have seen that supernatural that I certainly do believe their around. My grandmother who's grandparents came from Ireland said they KNEW that their were fairy's.and she told me story's about how her people had seen them and your right .its the children that see them. as their minds and spirit or not closed to things like that.
theirs many things around that usually people don't see. but their there anyway.

Hey I'm in Ireland and a *total* believer in the Fairy Kingdom. There are so many beliefs and superstitions about them here - I wouldn't know where to begin. The main belief is that you definitely don't want to anger or annoy them - because retribution will be swift and unpleasant! If the milks gone sour, the car keys have vanished or you broke a nail - you've done something you shouldn't! They are fiercely protective of the environment and Mother Earth, so the more you respect these things, the more in tune you'll be with the Fairy Kingdom. Check out this good webpage on Fairies and how to interact with them:

I believe in fairies, elves, and Gnomes. They live in our gardens, trees, and flowers, out in nature.
They are not only in Ireland but all nature, even your own backyard.
Most people can not see or hear them. You will know they are there because your garden, flowers and plants will thrive. They say that fairies bring you to the garden to toll the dirt and plant things. This is where they make a connection with you.
Why do so many people love Gardening?
It relieves stress because that is the payment for your labor of love from the fairies. You will see gardeners with smiles, humming a tune or staring off into the flowers. It is the connection with nature.
Faries are abundant. They help us. They are around us but only very few can see them.

I am irish and a lot of people half believe in them. in our language they are called síog (she-oh-g) or shí (she) the word banshee came from the words bean shí or litreally the fairy woman and when i was small i saw one, or at least i think i did. i was about four and while my parents were on the beach i went for a paddle in the water without them knowing and walked over a sandbank far out at low tide and sunk like a stone. from then i remember a woman with weird black eyes with no pupils and very green hair and a sort of bluish tinge to her face and from that i blacked out from no oxygen. i woke on the beach to the face of a life gaurd who had given me cpr and when i told my grandmother she said it was a merrow (irish mermaid) she is an o'sullivan from kerry (a county in ireland) and it is said that there is merrow blood in the family.
