something you've learnt from your own mistakes...anything

One - don't get upset when people are rude to you. It usually has nothing to do with you, and a kind word might make them feel better.

Two - abusive relationships don't improve. Leave.

Three - people like you more when you're not trying to make them like you. In fact, be proud of your uniqueness and eccentricities. They make you stand out, and people respect you for it.

Four - turkey bowling is fun... as long as the boss doesn't catch you.

There's plenty more, but you can never think of 'em all on the spot.

I have made more than my share of mistakes and I have learned alot through the years but to narrow it down for the purpose of answering the question, I would have to say that I have learned that what you do in life comes back around to you one way or another be it good or bad. So, I always make sure that I treat others fairly and put my best foot forward. I welcome everyone with a smile and I try to make it a point to do something for someone else everyday without asking for anything back in return, nor do I expect anything back.

I've learned you should pay yourself first. Save ten at least dollars a week every week and don't touch it. If you can only afford 5 dollars a week save 5 dollars if you can easily save 25 dollars a week save 25 dollars a week. Just do it! Do it today and 25 years from now you will be glad you did. Guaranteed!
Time flies man and 25 years from now will be here real soon.

Oh, honey, I wish I had the time (or space) to go into it all. Let me try to think of the top 4...

1. Think before you speak. That's gotten me into trouble a lot of times.
2. Listen to your closest friends about your guy. They're only looking out for you.
3. Don't listen to other people about your guy. They probably don't have YOUR best interests at heart.
4. Don't change yourself to make friends. If they don't like you for you, they're never going to truly be your friends.
