the electric field intenstiy between two large, charged, parallel metal plates is 8000n/c. the plates are .5m apart. whats the potential difference between them?

Intensity (E) = 8000n/c
Note that n/c = Volts/meter, and voltage is a measurement of potential difference.

E = 8000n/c = 8000 V/m
8000 V/m * .5m = 4000 V (solution!)
