a few actually... He's My Son by Mark Schultz, Held by Natalie Grant, Alyssa Cries by Jason Michael Carroll, Something by Jaci Velasquez, and The Valley Song by Jars of Clay... the first three are about little children, the 4th song is about breaking up with someone, but the last one is just sad...

THere is one, I don't know if any of you have heard it...called Common Threads, by Bobby McFerrin. It is the theme from the AIDS quilt documentary of the same name. It is just vocal sounds, no lyrics, and Stevie Wonder plays harmonica in the back...it is just beautiful but also so very very sad.

Arms of an angel...sarah mclachlan

These are mostly related to deaths/funerals, etc in my situation.

There are two: I Can't Live If Living Is Without You, and Alone Again, Naturally. I remember hearing these songs when I was just a little girl and they made me want to cry then, and they still do it to me now, 35 years later.

Hallelujah via Jeff Buckley. between the saddest, yet between the main stunning songs ever made. additionally, the certainty that the singer drowned after a quick time from making a track that track is heartbreaking. RIP Jeff Buckley.
