LAST YEAR THE REPUBLICAN CONGRESS VOTED TO BUILD A BORDER FECE TO CUT OFF THE US FROM MEXICO. THIS YEAR, AS SOON AS THEY WERE ELECTED, THE DEMOCRAT CONGRESS VOTED TO CUT FUNDING FOR THE FENCE AFTER IT WAS PASSED INTO LAW LAST YEAR!
ARE DEMOCRATS HERE TO HELP OUR COUNTRY? OR SCREW IT OVER?

I personally think both parties are failing our country. The extreme views of both parties are resulting in nothing happening, which is not good for our country and is alienating most citizens whose views are somewhere in the middle. The non-binding resolution of Iraq pushed through by the democrats is a worthless, meaningless gesture that does nothing because they don't have the guts to follow through on cutting funding. The border fence was a knee-jerk reaction by republicans to a large, complex problem. Expect nothing meaningful to happen in the next two years.

All I felt was their hands in my pockets, reduced us to third class citizens, filled their pockets from every coffer in America, blessed corporate America with billions in tax breaks, brought in Mexicans by the country load for cheap labor, terminated your health care, refused us a $.75 per hour raise after giving themselves $50,000 at a pop, and took us to war over a "family " issue that needed settling!
The only thing I can see is relief from what the "Republicans " stole from the "working class of America"!!!!!
Then we have the issue that most Americans can only vote "democrat or Republican"! Try reading on down the list, there are other options of getting the "pro quo" out of Washington!

The border fence won't help your country. Immigrants power your entire service economy. You should be more concerned with more important issues. Global warming? War in Iraq? Collapse of the American Empire? Why are you worrying about a few immigrants?

I don't know about you but I love our country and would like to see it survive. Do you think alqueda would go home if we left Iraq? Does it help when the liberal press advertises every defense we create to protect ourselves, "illegally of course." When they tell the world, "our enemy", that we can't win this war, who does that embolden?
When they call for cut and run who sits back and says lets just keep on with the fight and they'll leave, we'll follow?
