*The Zoo would probably hold their attention (http://www.southcoastusa.com/pensacola_zoo.asp)
*Gulfarium is about 40 miles away in Ft. Walton Beach (http://www.gulfarium.com/)
*Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier - the longest pier on the Gulf of Mexico (http://www.fishpensacolabeachpier.com/)
*Big Lagoon State Park has beaches, nature trails, a picnic area and more (http://www.floridastateparks.org/biglagoon/)

Here's an article on family attractions in the Pensacola area, although some may be of interest just to kids older than 2:

Besides the beach? Not a lot.

When my son was that age, we went to a restaurant in Pensacola (that is still there) called "Flounders" and it was a good place to take kids. They have a "park" in the back that the kids can play on while you eat. (Kind of like a McDonalds park, but with more adult food).

But the beaches are the best!!!!
