How to spruce up a black tank top?

Question

I'm going to a concert tonight. I'm just wearing jeans and a black tank top that says "rock" on it. How do I make it more fashionable? Should I wear a shirt underneath?

Well...wear a cami under it that has lace on the bottom like glitzy...then nvr wear huge bulky necklaces...kinda tacky..so wear some heels with ur jeans and make sure the colorful...then cordinate a necklace with em...and for ur hair make it rocky lol...um....brush it out and strait in it then take a 1 inch to 1 1/2 inch of hair in he middle of ur head and pin it ....then brush down the sidess around it...wear bangles and earrings...best of luck!!!

i wear black all the time, it's my favourite color to wear.. what i usually do when wearing a plain black tank top i wear a flashy necklace such as hot pink .. it gives out alot of color and makes the person seem more fun and approchable whereas if you'd only be wearing black people might get the impression that you're "depressed" or whatever, it's just the way we perceive colors, so you could add a pink beeded necklace, preferably a long one that needs to be umm..( i'm french so this might not make sense haha) like twisted, wrapped or something around your neck twice.. i think this should brighten things up.. i also like the blazer idea, but maybe not the stripes that could be a bit to much.. i don't know! i really like the way i look when i wear my necklace with my black shirts.. hope this helps a bit! ouuhh! and that pink laced shirt idea underneath would look awesome with the necklace! that's what you should do, definatly!!

Accessorize!!!!!! Ya know the whole biz, earrings, bracelet, necklace, belt etc. Ya don't have to wear all of it, then you might look a little crazy. Hmmmmmmmm. you wanna look rock? Well you could add punches of red in there like a long beaded red necklace, and huge red hoop earrings. Im not sure how rock you are, but personally i'd make sure to wear lots of pink!!! And no i think it will look good without the shirt underneath.

Try wearing a pink shirt underneath of it or under armour. Try wearing bunches of bangels and earrings that match the shirt, too. Have fun @ the concert!

chunky necklace and big watch w/lots of bangles... or put your own personal touch to the tank top w/pins or other acceories (bandana's, scarves) wear a funky hat - or layer the tank with different colors underneath (perhaps match the color of the lettering "Rock") ... have a great time and be safe.

you can add rhinestones and add a shiny line on the bottom. The shiny bottom is made from sequins, and you can get it for a great price at a fabric store. You can also add a pattern that you can buy from a fabric store. Don't totally accessorize it too much, or you will look messed up. GOOD LUCK!

If you have any skills at sewing (its ok if you don't!!I mean I don't!) but you can alter it so it looks more old school you know frayed edges or a little splattered paint!!! But you might you might not want to mess up you tank! It would really cool though

wear a necklace earrings and bracelets that match either your shoes, nail polish, eyecolor, or what ever color your are going to wear with your black top.
