Well I think it is rough to start off but somewhere in the convo . would be nice to hear that you used to use . That is the honest thing you can do . You never know the person sitting across from you can actually have a secret like that as well and Thank You for being honest and tell you about her horrible past . GOOD LUCK !!! Keep the faith alive and keep strong to keep fighting .

Congratulations on kicking the 'H' Plan. I don't think it would be a good chat up line, not for me anyway, but it wouldn't put me off of someone if they told me that they were a former heroin addict. Everyone deserves a second chance. I would think you had great sense of willpower to kick such a habit. I would just like to say good luck for the future.

Never.

Being honest with someone does not mean telling all, especially about the past.
If you have really put it behind you then forget it and dont mention it unless asked a direct question.

No girl really wants to know how many women you have slept with either.

Def not, that would make me run a mile sorry! Im all for honesty but get to know a person first and then tell them.

Yeah if you want the other person to run a mile. Why would you want to share such personal information with someone you just met anyway?

if your defo over it and healthy again it shows you are strong but vulnerable too and some girls would want to look after you but not as a chat up line

one of my ex's was in rehab before we met for drug abuse, he told me straight up first time i met him & i was cool with it, honesty's always good, people appreciate it & it lets them know where they stand. if someone likes you then it shouldn't be an issue & if it is an issue, then they obviousy were not worth your honesty in the first place so f**k 'em.
