People need to think a little farther than The Passion of the Christ. There are a couple of great films that are religious and very moving. The first I would recommend is "The Second Chance," starring Michael W. Smith. It's a film about a music pastor who is forced to help minister at an inner city church and who begins to change his views of himself and of what ministry is really about.
The second I would recommend is "Facing the Giants," a film about a high school football coach who's team is losing and not unified. He decides to bring prayer and religion into the huddle and things begin to happen and the team begins to click. It is a truly emotional football story that will strengthen your belief in prayer.

"Birth Of A Nation." Use of the Christian Cross for ethnic persecution following the American Civil War. Contains
early black and white film visuals, bombastic script, lies,
more lies, and ends with a big lie. Not a film for those too
easily offended, minors, or political back-benchers who
aren't particularly intelligent.
