Could be someone using your computer remotely, or could be a virus meant to be a nuisance. Get updates from your local computer store if you can and install them because this IS a problem you need to fix immediately.

Backup your important data and do a complete restore of your operating system, this should clear the problem. AND NEVER OPEN STUFF YOU DIDN'T SPECIFICALLY ASK FOR. I'm forever getting e-mail with answers to my request for financial information and stuff like that. They never NEVER get opened. Just deleted immediately.

Keep your self safe. I use Panda virus protection. There are a lot to choose from. Panda has worked for me.

You may have scanned your computer for viruses.. However assuming you do have one. It's very much possible that your computer doesn't see it as a virus and thus has not done anything to remove it. try doing a quick search on the net for microtrend housecall and have them run a free virus/cleaning.

Wow..this shows how Antivirus software protects against viruses, now doesn't it? You are infected so bad that someone else has remote control over your computer. They are probably using your computer as a Zombie, that is they are running spam mail through it so it looks like you are doing it. Take action immediately! Save your data, reformat your hard drive, preferably with a good operating system that wont get hacked like Kubuntu for free at www.kubuntu.org
