Check with your local city or county-Here, I'd have to have a tax ID-which is my SSN. and a sellers permit. Also need to know which area is legit to sell so you don't get a ticket for that. A resell license is if you are buying supplies etc and use them to resell-you don't pay taxes etc. till you sell the items- I actually don't even mess with that as I don't want the headache with my art. I dsell on Ebay- and through commissions.

You can now sell your art on the streets or in NYC Parks without any license or permit. An advocacy group, A.R.T.I.S.T. spent the past 13 years winning you this right. Please check out our website.
