many say this is a sad poem...?

"The day's just beginning, you see the girl you love, you're friends, you talk to eachother everyday, on the phone, computer, etc, you're walking with her, talking, laughing, having the time of your life, it's time to say goodbye, you hug and walk off, ...you're walking, past places where we played as kids, later you talk to eachother everyday, time's ending, you say you'll see eachother tomorrow, you know what, you're in goddamn love, is there anything else better in the world"

Your musings are sad if you meant them to be a poem. A poet writes in first person to invoke feelings from the reader. You wrote in third person, making it more an account of events. The sadness is this "poet" is outside, external to, separate from, the idea of love. Write of your feelings, not someone else's events.

The situation this thing refers to doesn't seem to be sad. But the thing itself is not just far away from being a poem, it is also far away from being anything else than a bunch of short sentences.
