I pulled the spark plugs and connected them to the plug wires and turned the engine over. I am getting spark jumping the spark plug gap. Reinstalled plug but it will not start.

next is check for fuel.... I suppose you have checked the fuse for the fuel pump...without trying to start the car ...when you turn the key to the on position can you hear the pump run for about 2 seconds? are you sure the gas you have in the car is good? try adding a couple of cans of additive (disperses H20 that may be in the gas). A pressure test should be performed on the fuel injection system..at the schrader valve on the fuel rail...that will verify your pump is working correctly.

check for fuel. Get a can of starting fluid( some folks don't like starting fluid cause they think it dries out the cylinders) you can use any flammable aerosol for this simple test. With the air cleaner removed have another person turn the engine over and spray the starting fluid into air inlet. Stand to one side, if it whoofs you don't want to singe your mustache. If it will start and run this way then you are getting no fuel through your system. If it is electric fuel pump, check fuses, relay, inertia switch. May also have a sender for your oil system that will not allow it to pump fuel if it has no oil pressure. Check fuel filter. Are you in a n icy area. Can fuel system condensation be causing a water/ice problem. Run e10 the ethanol in it will help burn condensation, and keep it liquid so it doesn't block fuel lines. Other additives such as heet will help this too.

Obviously if you are getting spark that rules out the ignition system. Most likely a fuel, timing problem. Can you check fuel pressure/When you turn on the key can you hear the fuel pump cycle?

Is it getting fuel?

Does it even "try" to catch?

If it catches, does it buck and pop?
