The left exploits fear of global warming, fear of poverty, fear of privation, fear of social insecurity for political gain.

You just need to go back a few elections to answer that. Which party is always telling the elderly that if the Republicans get elected they will lose their Social Security. Which Party in Atlanta ran campaign ads that said if the republican Congressmen was elected, it would be worse than the Civil Rights days? Which Party in Missouri (Claire McKaskel) staged he now infamous Michael J. Fox ad (by not taking his medicine for Parkinson's disease) ? GIVE ME A BREAK

More people are under the poverty line now than any point since the depression. The difference between dems and cons is that cons make up BS and dems have reality.

Hold on a minute,illegal aliens are lawbreakers (I don't fear them). There's plenty of crime. That's not made up.
Global warming. First it was global cooling in the 70's. Make up our minds please! I believe the libs are raising the alert to "Red Hot Chile Pepper" now.

Probably not, though personally I think terrorists, crime, etc. are more to be fear than global warming or what have you.
