I'm going to make this brief cuz I'm not one of those people that likes to type an essay on a message board, but after watching the game there are two main reasons why I think Karl needs to be fired...

1) DEFENSE!!...The nuggets are horrible on defense...and that partly has to do with coaching....Look at the Mavericks sure they have Howard who's a great defender, but the whole attitude of this team on defense changed once they got Avery as their coach....Karl has never really been a defensive minded coach...sonics were alright when he was coaching but they had guys like payton, kemp, etc..they were good defenders....Every coach usually stresses defense....but there are coaches who talk about playing defense...and coaches like Avery, Larry Brown, etc. that won't tolerate not playing defense...we need a coach who will pound defense into these guys head...sure they don't have any great individual defenders...but they can still be good team defenders....there's a difference

2) Their flow

Dont forget, the Nuggets went 21-4 last season after the all-star break with George Karl and without Allen Iverson

They do not have a defensive team the onlt thing they can do is turn up the intensity and try to use there speed alittle more but these guys are a shoot and score mentality .I would hope since AI is getting a second chance and is getting older he would focus more on D.Jordan became a big time defensive player when he got older seems like all the greats focus more on D when the offensive skills start to diminish. as far as there flow i dont think to much can be done about that this year they have had injury and suspension problems this year hard to keep a flow when your best players are missing big chunks of the season . Im not a huge Karl fan but he should get another full year to try and get this together there is talent there this team is underachievieving but also remeber the west is VERY VERY tough . this team would be a 2 seed if they were in the east.ive him 1 more chance.

they would be silly to fire karl, he has had great success as a coach and whether you like him or not there is no better option at this time for them...he was the key addition to this team last season for their playoff run, and yes his teams do not play great defense but denver should be capable of outscoring teams in at least some of those games
