As in every one who is on this planet is going to die, its a bit depressing, no one will know what it was like now, all the love will go and most of us will be completely forgotten and the lucky of us will get our achievements remembered. I feel cheated we are only at the beginning the potential of the brain and our exploration into the universe and all we have is a faked moon landing, I’m thinking about cryogenics but I’m not smart now so will be even more useless in the future plus I would have to get the money. Its so annoying and depressing, how do you deal with it?

Daniel J-
a)Just because we know the facts about the past and can hear first hand accounts we can never know what it was like first hand, for example- we hear about world war two but can never know what it was really exactly like for the people there.
b)I believe love is a chemical in the brain and when we die it dies with us, so when all our friends are dead and we are dead that love will be gone- that is my opinion and is just as valid as yours
c)I doubt I’m the first person to feel depressed about death and that has nothing to do with my character
d)U know nothing about me and cannot judge any one by a question, I think u need to take some chill pills but u did make me laugh thank u

Yes, we are all going to die, fact of life. To everything that lives there is a season and then the death. We need to make the most of each minute everyday, and not worry about the things we cannot change, and change the things we can, please don't feel cheated that that you won't be around to see certain facillimes progress, live in the moment that you are in! There are all kinds of discoveries around you every day. I deal with things as they come, one at a time. I have been on this earth a long time, and feel very blessed to see all that i have seen. The TV era, the cars, all the miracles of life. If you want to see advances, look at the national geographic site. Many new discoveries are happening as we speak. Look around, be blessed in the moment, live for the day, read, read, read, and then believe!! Beleive that you are part of a very important process! Life!

well that is a given ever since the day we were born we are on a path to death...if that is how you want to look at it. But do you not believe there is more to life than worrying about death. And dont you believe there is more after death? Besides I just try to make each day important no matter if its a big "difference" or a little "difference" the point is I still made one and only God knows and to me that is all that matters. I dont care what people think.

I don't have a problem with it. Once you're dead, you're dead - you'll cease to exist and none of this will matter. We start dying from the moment we're born so the point is to live the life you have the way you want to live it. If you want to be smarter, study more. If you want more money, work harder. None of us knows how long we have so don't put anything off until tomorrow, start achieving your dreams NOW! You can do it! By the way, when I die I want my ashes made into a diamond.

You could have been walking around like a monkey thousands of years ago, that's progress, enjoy your life, do your bit, be good and get on with it, you sad f*cker!!. People may look back from other planets at mother earth and can't believe we lived like this in the 21st century but lets hope humans today make the right decisions now and keep the human race moving forward.

Our goodness! we are all living here! How did you feel it ever?

And if, every living being here, go on living for ever with no perishing and dying, but only the new- borns are adding up to the world population in human and non-human speices, where would be the place for us to live, and the food for us to eat?
When, your limbs become inert and your inner parts starting for a strike-out, would you be in a position to linger on and wish to prolong your life with all your sufferings and ailments?
SEE FOR EVERY THING, A START AND END POINT IS THERE IN THE COSMOS!!

NOTHING HERE IS EVERLASTING!

THUS, YOU END IT AND RESTART IT AGAIN!! LIKE A SEED BECOMES A BIG TREE AND IT GIVES AGAIN THE SEEDS! ( AND THE SEEDS PRODUCE THE TREE AGAIN!!)
Why, do you afraid of death, and asking such question? God never gives any pain ful experience in death for any living beings!
It is just like an instant sleep, arrives for, in an unpredictable moment, but gives a deep peacefulness and rejuvantation! Those who could live happily can die happily without any friction in it.
BE IN THE CROWD, LIKE A STREAM IN THE RIVER!
THINK NOT TOO MUCH, FOR OUR HEAD IS NEVER GOING TO SOLVE OUR REAL PROBLEMS!

OUR HEART KNOWS

WHERE AND WHEN TO START

AND STOP ITS JOURNEY

IN A MORE SMOOTHER WAY,
like, a sun raises in the east and gently vanishing in the west, simply to re-appear in the East again!

I think your problem is, your mind is cheating yourself by asking these like primoidal questions, and avoiding you to work hard for your own future! There by you get all these frusturations, vexations and depressions in your life?
Be like the birds and flowers! Be natural!
And live your life, without any logical questions in to your head!

Infact, our life has no logic!

And our logic will never work at all!

Who really cares? I'm too busy living my life to worry about whether I'll be remembered. How are you sure that there is a future for the Human race? As for Cryogenics - it hasn't been proved to work on a complete human being.

Death and taxes are the only certainties in life.

The whole purpose of being here, as far as I can work out, is to pass on one's genes to the next generation for the continuation of the species. One individual is not important in the scheme of things. We are all just links in the evolutionary chain.

No point in being depressed about an inevitability. It's coming whether you spend your life being depressed about it or not. Better to get on with your life and enjoy what you've got it while you've got it. Otherwise, it's a pretty pointless existence.

I heard that in about 20 years from now a lot of scientists are going to have some way of making you live longer to about 200. But the deal with this is you can't have any children. But come on, who would want to live until 200? Lol

I'm more worried about those I will leave behind. As for myself I feel it's only a small part of a vast, perhaps evelasting, journey.
The other issue for me is not having done the things I will later wish I had whilst here on Earth

If there is one think you know that will happen within your life time, it is death. Why worry about it? Make the best of your life while you can, bringing joy to yourself and those around you. Hopefully after death you move onto better things- if not, well you won't miss anything.
