i dont think it could hold all 3.6 gb, that may be your problem, if not call the burner's brand headquarters, and get tech support from them

If you want to create a DVD that works on a common DVD player, you definitely need a burning software. Copying the files of the movie as is won't work (If you do so your DVD player will not be able to play the video/movie properly). Ashampoo is a good option for every "burning need". Possible just a dirty lens on the burner. They burn from the inside of the disc to the edge. More errors happen near the edge. Try cleaning the drive or burning at a slower speed.
