the so-called celebrity should do as they please, just like the rest of us, fair enough people look up to them but they've got to live their lives for themselves! if someone wants to shave their head just coz britney did it then it's their own fault for being a mug!

Celebrities should be good role models because most kids and teens look up to them. If a certain celebrity starts doing something dangerous or bad , young kids may want to try it to. Some celebrities are good role models but most are not.

If they are going to have their faces plastered all over our TV screens, cinema screens and magazines and get paid loads for the privilege they should at least make an effort to be a good role model.
The public made them famous and the public can tear them down again. They should stop labouring under the delusion that they "deserve" their fame or achieved it through their great talent (in a lot of "celebs"' cases talent isn't even a factor!), be grateful to their fans and to the public and try to give something back by setting a good example.
People, especially the young and impressionable, look up to them so they should bear this in mind. Otherwise don't be a celeb! Go work in Tesco or something!

They act well, look great, dress nicely, are very humble, cordial, and things. There are many reasons. I think people like Bono or Hillary Clinton, not that HC is really a celebrity, but whatever, I think they're good role models since they contribute to society and Bono helps out third world countries and donates time and money to them. That's really, really, so nice.

I don't see why. I think that mothers should teach their children morals and be the role models. Every one should have the right to live their life. We are not the ones that should decide their fate. Leave it to a greater power. I think that it is our duty to teach our kids whats right and wronge. Don't let them decide that at 13 while watching MTV

Those people have put themselves in the public eye, and they should do everything they can do to be good role models. Unfortunately that's not the way it really is. The general public needs to stop looking up to them for everything.....all they can really do is act, or sing, or play ball, or whatever their specialty is.

Celebrities should realize (But normally don't), the great responsibility that goes with their fame and fortune. They mostly believe that the fame is theirs and no one else's. They didn't get there by themselves, fans had to put them there. Unfortunately, some don't understand this and become famous and continue down the wrong path.

Because they are in the public eye 24-7 and thats how they have made their millions. Bet they wouldnt swop places with a lot of their fans.

Because teens look up to them and if they are for instance :a rock band that has songs that are about drugs or something then it could influence teenagers to make bad choices . (that is the main reason that I hate nickelback)
They should all do good things so their fans are influenced to do only good
