do you believe that "dont take a problem as a problem, but take it as an oppurtunity" i think problem is still a problem that we have to solve it and of course it will cause a lot of trouble but i dont think that problem can give us an oppurtunity. problem just give us experience. do you agree?

It depends on the problem. Most times at the least we can take the opprtunity to learn from the problem. My husband and I recently had "problems" yet again with his parents, but we finally decided to make an opportunity of it and to learn that it's just going to happen again and again. We've taken the opportunity to let the relationship go. It's sad, but probably the best. We've also decided to take the opportunity this problem presented to strengthen our marriage adn are stronger than ever for it.
As parents we have problems with our children, but a smart parent takes those problems and again allows them to be opportunities, for communication with our children, for learning abotu parenting and abotu ourselves.

I view everything in life as an opportunity.

Wanna get metaphysical here?

OK, I think to truly be happy in life, gratitude is essential. I feel you have to be grateful for everything--the good, the bad, the indifferent. A few years back, my heart was stomped on as the result of a horrible relationship. At the time, I hated him for doing what he did and I hated the situation. But as time went by, I learned to appreciate what happened.

Now, was that a problem or an opportunity? It was both. Because one lent itself to the other. The problem (the break up) allowed me the opportunity to find myself. The problem presented me with the opportunity to solve many of my own issues. I m a better person for having had this experience.

If you've the experience in life and a similar problem presents itself down the road, then you'll be able to gleen from your experience to solve the problem. It all goes hand in hand.

To me, one begats, the other, then the other, then the other.

There are probably an assload of schools of thought on this...it could be as simple of "six of one, half a dozen of the other".

Problems require a solution. A solution can require effort which in and of itself produces an "experience".

In other words, huh???????????????????????

I slightly disagree with you.
A problem is an opportunity for many things:
1) for creative thinking in searching for a resolution
2) to learn from the experience - experience being the best life-teacher
3) opportunity for change. Without change our lives would be flat.

i think that a problem is an opportunity because how would you learn with out problems? and without problems, how would you build yourselves, and others up to where they are now? so i think that a problem is an opportunity to learn more every time.

Symantics. You are just saying the same things that your classwork is saying, but with different vocabulary. It adds up communicationwise to the same theory. You just prefer a different set of words to say it.
