I have recently bought a lightscribe dvd and cd burner. I would like to label a lightscribe disc. When i run the program Nero Label Cover Designer i create the label then click print after that i get a sign that says preparing drive and there is a progress bar then when it is fully loaded it waits for like 15 seconds then i will get an ereor message saying Communication Error Restart your computer and try again it says something like that but i know for sure it says communication error. What should I do But i do not want to reload nero but if i have to then oh well. When you answer my question please answer with a good answer if possible.

Try uninstalling the driver for your new burner, then reinstalling it. Sometimes this may help resolve communication issues. Lightscribe is great for labeling. When you burn you label, if it is not to the darkness you desire, simply reburn the label to the same disc. I have repeated the process up to 4 times to get the quality that I desired.

You may want to see if there are any updates for your Nero software on-line that resolve this issue. Hope this helps you.

i'm uncertain which utility you put in, yet you apart from mght prefer a cd label maker. whilst utilising the label maker, after composing your paintings and information and are waiting to "print," the Lightscribe could arise as a variety of "printers" to apply. this is a application which fits great and it incredibly is loose: SureThing CD Labeler 4 SE. seek for it with the be conscious Lightscribe and you will detect a obtain internet site. wish this facilitates.

Call HP tech support, since I think they invented the lightscribe technology.
