I have just finished season 1 on dvd and in the middle of watching the current season 3 on ch4. Where did toms daughter come from? Did he have an affair?

He fathered her before him and Lynette met. But he didn't know about it. Don't want to tell you to much as it will spoil it for you, but it is a good wee story and made me 'gasp' when it ended!!!!

Tom's Daughter is from a relationship he had before he married Lynette. I think he didn't find out about having an daughter till long after she was born. I the second series Tom starts going on mysterious trips and Lynette suspects he is having an affair, but finds out he has this daughter. Watch the second series it is well worth it.

Tom had a daughter in a previous relationship but he had no knowledge of her. Finally he found out that he had a daughter and didn't tell Lynette.

no he did not have an affair but he had an ex wife before which he hid from lynette so his ex wife comes and tells tom he also has a daughter! enjoy the rest of the season... excellent stuff happens! you'll see...

From a lady whom he went with and she became pg, and never told him, but no he didnt have an affair on lynette, they were not married when the little girl was born.

he had an affare but it wasnot a big part of the storyline for second two which was terruble by the way.
what happuned to the dotter when they opuned the pizza place? she was not there
