This invasion was wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start. It will end up being the biggest plunder any President has ever made in the history of this nation. To answer your question, its about oil, and so is all this hoopla over Iran.

I think it was a well meaning Prez with a horrible FBI info network and cabinet and that Saddam was like Hitler and a killer. At this point we need to get out but the vacumn created will be bad for the west if we do it without a solid structure in place- only thing is- Bush doesn't seem to get that it will happen no matter what-I think its kind of all three at this point-so do most folks-and we need to worry more about home turf because we can't change the idiocies and differances of the Middle East. Not meaning the smart, cultured and such- just the bombings and craziness.

Moronism. I mean seriously. If we are gonna blow up a country that has a dictator president, we should at least take the damn oil so we dont have to pay 3 bucks for a gallon of gas. Now we have our soldiers over there getting killed by the terrorists that took over when we tried to help out there damn country, right after we blew it up.

the second I heard about it, I knew it was a very, very bad idea.
I don't think it was terrorism ( after all, where ARE those pesky WMDs?) but as far as the true agenda, we'll never know.

It is sad..I think we were duped and supported it at first because we were fed faulty information..now we are wasting young lives, ours and Iraqi...
