That depends on what kind of ton you're talking about.

An Imperial Long Ton is 2,240 lb (or exactly 1,016.0469088 kg)

An Imperial Short Ton (net ton) used in the USA is 2000 lbs exactly and 907.18474 kg

A Deadweight ton is 2,240 pounds or 1,016.04691 kilograms

A Metric Ton or Tonne is 1000 kg or 2,204.6 pounds.

TONS USED IN THE USA AND METRIC TONS ARE NOT EQUAL!!!

USA Ton is 907.18474 kg and a Metric Ton is 1000 Kilograms Exactly

6,540 kilograms= 6.fifty 4 tonnes via fact 1000kg= a million tonne I ton is a little extra advantageous than a million tonne, yet i do no longer understand how lots extra. a coarse conversion is: 1tonne=1ton an extraordinarily small distinction. So i assume you could only say as an answer: 6540 kilograms is approximately 6.fifty 4 plenty.
