i am that way. i finally realized i am good a some things and weak in others. i was the fastest kid growing up. track champ. made great on sat's. but could succeed at public speaking. apart from anxiety i had trouble keeping the flow going. decided to pursue other things that doesn't put such an emphasis on that requirement. how about you? maybe you need to reevaluate your strengths and weaknesses and possbile change goals?
