John Charles. Loved and adored in Wales and was voted the greatest foreigner ever to play in the Italian Leagues. He could play at centre back or centre forward and never got booked or sent off in hs entire career.

He was still mobbed whenever he went back to Turin and the Juventus away shirt was recently designed in his honour, being red, white and green symbolizing his previous club Leeds, his country and his adopted country of Italy.

Close Call between Ryan Giggs and John Charles.... Different era's but both great players. If you ask the same question of a Juventus fan he will tell you John Charles without question - probably the first Brit to be a success overseas, that's how good he was.
