What should i do if my laptop won't play cd's or dvd's. There is no toshiba repair center near me and it's still under warranty. I don't want to pay if i don't have to. Is there a way i can fix it on my own?

Call Toshiba Services and Support number posted on www.toshiba.com. They are very friendly in offering an alternative way to reach them and repair your machine. I've went through it once, and I am really satsified with their service. They take good care of you.

But specifically with your problem, you should be ready to send it by mail, and not be able to use it for more than 4 weeks. it takes time to fix it and send it back to you.
