Honestly, I think the US, which is SO dominated by men, couldn't handle the idea of a woman as President. Women have been programmed to believe that men can take care of things and men believe that men should run the show! So the majority of both sexes would be too afraid to see if a woman could take care of a 'man's job' in a 'man's world'. Although we've come a long way, I think a lot of people won't vote for her on that principle, alone.

The problem is that there are a lot of men who haven't been doing such a good job lately, and a woman's perspective could really make a difference. Sadly enough - I still don't think people equate women with the ability to do this!

I am not voting for her and its got nothing to do with her gender. I just think she is not going to be a competent and smart president. Besides, they had their chance at the white house with her husband as the president so why would I vote for another Clinton. I dont admire her values and do not agree with her principles, she comes across as fake and pretentious. So if the democrats want to push a female candidate, it should not be Hillary.

She's not going to win the nomination. As much as you cons hate her and think she a polarizer, she is also a polarizer within the democratic party. Dean inclusiveness is the direction the party is going. It proved to be successful in Nov 06. Hillary was against his party reforms. She wont win the nomination. Gore will. Watch for him to announce later this year.

I will not vote for her. She would make a horrible President.

I am a woman. I would love to see a woman President SOMEDAY but not right now. This nation isn't ready to take a woman President seriously.

a} people who are naive enough to believe her.
b) people who think all women have the same concerns and beliefs.
c) people who are willing to accept she only has a chance because of the enormous contributions from the ultra wealthy throwing money at her. (Can you really believe they do not have the most influence with politicians and do you really think she will penalize them with higher taxes. They are loophole specialists.)
d) people do not have the time or incentive to really follow the candidates but vote by name recognition only.
d) people who want a village, i.e. the government to raise their children. who believe government knows best.
e) people who think she can improve the place of women in the world.
f) people who want to contribute to her personal fortune.
-----WRONG---

Like some of her views. Would not vote for a president because of color or sex. If it was her compared to a Republican definitely her.

Not me. She is coniving and dishonest. I don't trust her as a politician. As much as I would like a woman to win , I would like the right one. Not just the first one in front of our eyes. I love Obama for 2008

I will vote for her in a heartbeat. She would make a great President..... ALL and I mean ALL of my friends want her in the White House - and - we are ALL at the age where, statistically, we vote more than any other age group.....

Not only that, WE are politically active and participate in the election process....we don't just sit at a computer and belch out words and opinions like many here.
