I think the University of Florida has a good chance to win the NCAA title once again. They return all five starters from a team that was young and thought to be too erratic last year to win it all. The Gators feature one of the best, if not the best, point guards in the country Taurean Green. They also have great inside play in Joakim Noah and Al Horford. The x-factor would have to be Corey Brewer. The Gators have struggled this year when he has struggled or has not played (he didnt play against Florida St and played sick when they lost to Kansas). Brewer is versatile and is a do-it-all player for the Gators. In March, upsets are most definitely a possibility but I think Florida has the talent and experience to make it to at least the Final Four. The only team I think that could beat the Gators in a one and done on talent and experience alone is UCLA. The Bruins have Arron Afflalo and Darren Collison in the backcourt along with Josh Shipp on the wing...now those three form a talented 3 guard lineup. Ohio State, I believe, is susceptible for an upset b/c other than Wisconsin and Indiana, nobody in the Big Ten has show consistency and the Buckeyes are young and just like North Carolina last year, it is hard to win when your leaders are freshmen.

Im not surprised one bit that the Texas A&M Aggies haven't been said. They aren't the kinda team that goes for publicity. I have 3 reasons for my opinion on ther winner

1. Best defense in the nation. Proof? Holding 35 straight opponents under 50% FG, only letting 2 teams get 70 points,( which is like 53.6 PPG or something.) and their prime defender Dominique Kirk holding his man to just 30% FG.

2.Acie Law IV, Captain Clutch! He made the game winner against KU, last year against No. 6 Texas, and almost gane winner against T Tech. ( Jarrius Jackson got down court on the buzzer.) He scores more than the opposing TEAM in the Last 5 minutes. It is amazing how he gets the ball to everyone else for 35 minutes, then takes over. If i could choose one player in the country to make the game-winning shot, it'd be him.

3. Josh Carter, best 3-point shooter in the country. 8 3-pointers against Nebraska and a 53% 3-point shooting. No team should play zone against him or they are DOOMED! Their is also The two big men Joseph Jones and Antanas Kavilauskis. Antanas is the most improved player in the Big 12 and Joseph Jones is a Powerhouse inside.

Some finishing comments, the only trouble they woul have is Foul trouble with Jones and Kavilauskis.

P.I.T.T. ! As Jamie Dixon says they have 9 starters. The real 5 are Aaron Gray best Center in the Big East, LeVance Fields a sophmore who is a terrific PG, Mike Cook a junior who can pound it inside or shoot a mid-range jumper, Antonio Graves can shoot the anywhere on the court, and Levon Kendell a tremendous 6'11 power forward. The other 4 are Ronald Ramon who is lights out beyond the arch, Sam Young a high-flyin Small Forward, Keith Benjamin who can score off the bench, and Tyrell Biggs a big man who is only a sophmore and can score atleast 8 a game. So now you are convinced PITT IS IT

Ohio State will win the National Championship. OSU has one of the best, if not the best, point guard in the nation, Mike Conley Jr. They also have Greg Oden (no more need to be said about him). They go 9 deep and when shooting well can defeat any team in the nation.

this is one of the toughest fields to predict a champion from in a long time, because there are at least 6 teams capable of winning it

i admit i'm a unc fan, but i'll go with the tar heels because of they are the most talented team in the country and have tremendous depth which will allow them to keep their guys fresh(no one averages more than 30 minutes a game)...however, florida, ucla, texas a&m, ohio state, wisconsin, and possibly pittsburgh or southern illinois are capable

I think that the Florida Gators will win but the Wisconsin Badgers have a pretty good chance also.

Wisconsin Badgers.
They have had the same starters all year long, and with Alando Tucker, Kammeron Taylor, and Brian Butch, i think they have a good chance.

although i think florida is the natural answer, I'm going with
North Carolina. they are a deep talented team that look
unbeatable when they bring the "A" game. they key to the
playoffs to me is guard play and they are deep. their strength
of schedule is stronger than any team mentioned here.
if they falter my sleeper pick is........UCLA
