They don't hurt, but they can dry out your eyes occassionally. Most people just think it hurts because when you take them in and out it looks like you are poking your eye. You really aren't though, you are just touching the lense itself.

I wrore contact lenses for 6 years.
They feel funny for the first 5-10 seconds as the ph of your eye and the saline solution adjust. After that I didn;t evel know they were in my eyes except fpor the fact that my eyesight was a lot better.
I'm a fan of contact lenses.

Contact lances? Is that anything like touch checkers, or dribbling poker? Maybe your should think about using spell check next time.

There are people who have extremely dry eyes who will never be able to wear them (mine are so bad I cant even use the polycarb lenses I need glass)
The best thing to do is have as much oxygen as possible get to the eye - it minimizes the problems. You should always keep a set of glasses for the unexpected.

im wearing them right now. they dont hurt, unless u put them in the wrong way, then it actually hurts really bad and you know you need to take them out. good luck!
