In leading up to the November elections, so many of the moonbats were positive that Bush used his influence with his "oil buddies" to lower gas prices as we approached the elections. The same people swore that prices would go back up immediately after the elections. Well, that time has come and gone and they're still down. So, does that mean that Bush has been armtwisting his oil buddies the whole time just to benefit the American people?

President Bush can not win this one. If the price is high it's because he's helping his oil buddies get rich. If the price goes down it's because he's asked his oil buddies to drop it so he looks good. High or low he'll be attacked either way.

Oil prices are down? Where do you get that from. We still depend on whether the share holders "think" something is about to happen in Nigeria, or that "maybe" war in Iraq can affect the oil price or that "eventually" the sun has something to do with the oil extraction .... As long as we pay higher prices at the pump based on hypothesis and maybes we will never see the end of the price gouging exploitation. Prices never went back down we paid 1.90 it went up to 2.70 and now it stabilized at 2.30 that is still way above what it was to begin with.
Oil Co and Bush will NEVER do the Americans or the world a favor with oil prices EVER.

Bush doesn't have anything to do with it. He is a puppet. This whole administration was Daddy Bushs' from the beginning. I live on what the stock market does but a lot of people don't have money in the stock market so it doesn't matter to their household expenses. The oil prices are governed by a lot more than these crooks but they have a big influence. Maybe this lame duck administration is also wanting to get in a Repuplican president next time, ever think of that.

$2.25 is a dream price where I am from. LoL!!

The pattern I see isn't with the elections, it's just basically like this:

The raise the prices really really high and then bring them down a bit higher then they were before they were raised. This is a psychological ploy. It makes us think 'At least we aren't paying $3.25 a gallon for the cheap stuff anymore'.

Why do people accept paying 1.30 for a pint(8 pints = 1 gallon) or 10.40 per gallon of water but can't stand paying 2.30 for a gallon of gas.
