I like Aidan, and Elliot. We are both hispanic so he wants something that sounds spanish. A few names he likes are Zacharias, Modesto, Sebastián, and Ezequiel. I don't like any of the names he does. Can someone help me find uncommon spanish sounding names. We both don't want names that are common like Jose, Jesus, Juan or Mario. Well you get the idea. (Our sons name is Carlos Roberto.) We named him after my husband and my dad. So know we need something different. Please HELP!

Well, my grandfathers name was Santos and everyone called him Sunny. (My mother's family is hispanic, so I'm only like, 1/4, but I wanted a hispanic name for my son.) My grandparents named my Uncles Matthew (which I chose for my son), Mark, Keith, and William. Not totally hispanic, but you could get those names or any other english names translated into spanish and go that route. And if you ever happen to need a girl name, my mother's name was Sondra.

I have a suggestion:

Dario, the latinized version of Darius.

Darius was the name of the old Persian shahs.

Also consider: You named your first child after your father, so it would make sense (and be polite) to name the second after your father-in-law. (Unless this poses a problem.)

BTW, Zacharias is becoming quite a hip name in the UK - thanks to the Harry Potter books where one character is named Zacharias Smith.

Hi. I don't know how uncommon my suggestions are because I was going to suggest Mario. I think it is adorable. Mario is definitely not a popular name around here. :)

How about:
Gabriel Cruz (I love Gabe as a nickname)
Cruz Mateo (2 of my favorite names)
Mateo Salvador
Nicolas Cruz
Damian Elija
Marco Cruz
Elias Martin
Tobias Cruz (LOVE Toby too)

Good Luck. SD

Give your child a name that can be easily spelled and pronounced by others. The name should be chosen not to satisfy your narcissism but should be a good choice to help the child in the future. Uncommon and unique names only hinder your childs success.
