I did my shower quite a bit in advance, just to insure that I would be able to purchase things after my shower. I would also recommend doing a registry at different places, that way people have more of a choice as to where to shop. I think at this time last year, I was about as far along as you are now. I would register closer to the shower date. About a couple of weeks before the invitations go out. If you register too early some stuff you request may not be available anymore. Plus they may add new things soon and you can add those on your registry too. Have fun, it is so much fun to scan the things. Just be practical and give a good variety to your buyers. Don't forget to include where you are registered in the invitations. Happy baby time!!

Congrats on a healthy baby boy! Well if your shower is in June, invits shuld be in the mail 4 weeks prior to the shower. So plan on starting your registry 6 to 8 weeks prior to your shower. That will insure what you register for should not have yet been discontinued or not in stock. Good Luck, summer babies are so fun!

Congratulations on the boy!!! I'd definitely recommend register as soon as possible. Alot of people want to shop early not just necessarily wait so as soon as people find out where you are registered it'll be easy for them to get you what you want and need. Definitely put on the invitations where you are registered also that way people know where to shop!

The best time would be about 1 month before you are scheduled to have the baby shower. Then of course you will pick boy clothing and accessories. Best of Luck

The best time to register is before the invitations are sent out. That way you can list the places on the invitations.

Congrats on your baby boy! Register as early as you can because it will exhaust you later in pregnancy. Also lord forbid if something were to happen and you deliver early it will already be done.
P.S.
regarding the poster that said summer babies are fun... Summer pregnancies are NOT! LoL I have 3 girls their Birthday's are in July, August, and September. I got my tubes tied so I would NEVER have to go through a summer pregnancy again.

Registering is fun. You can go anytime you want, you are registered at least by the time your invites go out so people have time to get the gifts.

I would start to register now, but not just at one store, do like Walmart and Babysrus...that way everyone can get in on the gifts.

Anytime now is fine. Make sure to register for the bigger items if you need them and not a bunch of clothes, since clothes are much more affordable.
