Which is better to get: The Sims Deluxe or The Sims 2 or the Sims Life Stories?

I am thinking of buying one of these for my computer. Keep in mind that The Sims Deluxe costs about $20, The Sims 2 costs about $40, and The Sims Life Stories costs about $35 (I think) Also, what exactly is Life Stories? Does it have the regular Sims game?

I got about every sims 1 expansion pack when it came out but when sims 2 came out, I spent hours and hours a day on it, very addicting so... SIMS 2 BY FAR!!! Sims life stories is boring from what i hear, tight budget right now. For more info on Sims 2 read below:

the sims life stores incorporates the sims2 --but has extras
i have the sims2 and all the expansion packs but refuse to spend £30 on the game which has everything the sims 2 has--just a bit extra..
u may as well buy the lifestores as the notmal sims 2 is about £19.99 to £29.99
Life stories is like the ps2 version of the sims--u are given tasks to complete and goals of a particular person...
i have the regular sims as well--and the sims 2 is muchhhh better

Nope. there are n different packs that contain the sims 2. Sims 2 is a huge sport. Deluxe version already got here out!
