Most doctors, nutritionists will say eat 5-6 times a day. Smaller meals are easier to digest and keep the metabolism going. You can also feel less starved if you eat every few hours. A snack should last 1-2 hours and a meal 3-4. I found since I switched to 5-6 smaller meals, I feel less deprived and have lost some weight. Just try not to eat 3 hours before bedtime, can make it harder to sleep and give you acid reflux. Good question!

I think that we should eat about 4-5 times a day. 3 of those times should be full meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the other two are snacks in between. No more then that or else you run the risk of becoming unhealthy. Some people supplement themselves with 6 or so snacks between meals 'cause their hungry. In my opinion, they should just wait till the next meal. So, no more then two snacks a day, max. Hope that answered your question, 'cause twice a day isn't enough unless you're on a diet.

Most people eat 3 "square meals" a day, well they will claim their meals are that way anyhow lol But in reality it is healthier to eat 5 or so smaller meals a day. Personally, I eat on average 5 times, one larger meal and the rest just smaller meals. I'm ALWAYS hungry even an hour after I just ate so smaller, more often meals suit me better.

Well normally people eat three, but if your trying to lose some weight, then eat breakfast, then a combined lunch and dinner at around 2-3. If dont care either way what happens to yourself, then eat maybe 4 times a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and then before you go to bed.
