Depends in what you mean. the original pizza if you likje was invented in Southern Italy in the times of the romans it is noted but the modern day pizza is named after the first commercial enterprise by early Italian immigranbts into America in the early 1900's specifacly round New York Brooklyn from where it spread world wide predomiately after the 2nd world war buit in italy their Pizza parlours have been going since BC100 Think about it
