usually when I'm bidding on ebay, I get some email that shows I have been outbid. When I went onto ebay to bid, and was outbid, 4 hours later, I still haven't received email that says I have bid or lost bids. Could this be some kind of an iframe that I bidded on? I use netcraft and when I signed out of ebay, this risk level was 10 times higher than normal? Help?

I've bought via eBay some 60 times. (Doesn't make me an expert.) But in my experience, their emails are sporadic, and I imagine the delay could just be system load related, rather than anything insidious.

You might consider using www.bidnapper.com if you are worried about bidding opportunities. Works great.

As long as you know you were out bidded, does it matter if you get an e-mail saying it?
