As a child, did you ever build or have a clubhouse or treehouse?

I was never given the opportunity to have a tree house. My brother and I saved up all of our birthday money so we could purchase the wood for one. Gave it to my sorry father to buy what was needed and he spent it on something else, so we never got our tree house. I still hold a huge grudge about that.

Me and my friend build like a "clubhouse" in her backyard entirely by ourselves. When we were done with it, it was all small and ugly, but what do you expect from a couple of kids who used scraps of wood and cardboard? We found a puppy after we were done and kept it. We named it Cinderella and kept it in the clubhouse. Like a day afterward, a guy said that it was his dog. We were all sad. lol.

I on no account did; the closest my brothers and that i ever got here became construction a "theatre" out of a large roll of corrugated paper while i became approximately 9 years previous. no longer lots of a theatre: we only stretched the paper between 2 poles and set chairs in front of it. The "aim audience" sat on the chairs and we waited on the different facet of the paper till it became time to return out and do our presentation. i do no longer remember lots, yet i do no longer think of i became distributed very lots to do; the "theatre" became of short length in any case, giving basically a single overall performance. We have been continually extra bookish varieties, so forts and treehouses and such have been only no longer area of my youthful human beings.

yeah, and all we did was take my friends dad's old beer bottles and throw them out of the tree house. It was kinda fun though.

Yes, I loved them, I had one in my backyard and me and my friends built one in the woods next to our neighborhood. It took up two trees. Kids around my neighborhood have them too. They haven't lost their popularity.
