He only went to the world series with the Mets in 1969 his highlight was when he pitched seven inning of relief one game to save the game. He also saved 3 games for them. The Miracle Mets(as many call them) beat The Orieles in 5 games. Ryan requested to be traded the next year and although he went to many more all-star games, he never again won a world series.

one. He pitched 2.1 innings and had a save for the Mets in game 3 of the 1969 World Series. He did make it to other league playoffs, but that was his only WS
