That is a romantic idea, but not true. You may be capable of many things in your life if you have confidence, but as much as you want to you will never fly.

Yes I do believe that belief has a powe, and it is not romantic,it is a fact of our human nature. Each one of us has got this power, all we have to do is learn how to use it.
Believing from the heart doesnt mean that there is a physical place in the heart itself that produces this effect,it is all in our amazing brain. You put strong intention and string faith that it will happen and your dream will become a reality.
Never stop dreaming and never stop believing.Great scientists are the real believers, because without belief, they would have abondonned every thought that made the world different today.
Remember also that believing and dreaming is not a passive and lazy activity,on the contrary,it is the greatest work of all,as real dreamers strive to make their dreams come true.

With true undoubting faith ALL things or possible.
I took a course by a lady,Helen Hadsell, 36 years ago.took a Silva mind control course.she won all these contests because she believed she would. without doubt.
I begin winning contests and getting exactly what I wanted.
faith opens you to a higher power .a force.a real force.
My mothers favorite verse was I can do ALL things thru Christ that strengthens me.
I have been totally amazed that with faith comes so many things I wish and need.If you simple have the right type of faith as a mustard seed has. that seed doesn't have any doubts, in Romans in the bible it says it is a sin to doubt, you must NOT have ANY doubt or it will not work,
faith is the most important thing a person can have
You do not necessarily have to be religious to have that force with you.
you don't have to believe in God at all. faith doesn't have anything to do with religion.I personally know that theirs a God and a spirit of God.when I pray I pray with faith and I also visualize what I wish, visualization is vitally important.also.when you totally undoubtingly KNOW something will happen .it WILL.
I wish you the best

" You don't need faith to fly, you need to understand flying". Richard Bach

You LEARN to fly, and reserve faith for the hope that the wings won't fall off.
Most of the great spiritual leaders had a profound experience preceded by a lack of faith not the other way around. ( Moses, St Paul, St. Peter, Budda...) Magical thinking is a dangerous and generally ineffective escape from, not to, what you are searching for.

That's essentially true. Belief is an incredibly powerful force in the universe.

That's just inspirational BS that parents tell there little kids before they are smart enough to know better. You can believe anything you want, but unless you can prove your claim or take some practical steps to bring it fruition, then you've made no progress.

it all depends on the person..
