I am a size 41 and recently bought suede shoe boots in size 40. I can fit sandals, mules and even courts in a 40, but unfortunately I can`t get my foot more than three quarters into the shoe boot. Is there anyway i can stretch the shoe without tearing the suede?

1.Get the suede soaking wet (literally saturated)
2.Stretch to desired shape while wet.
3.Stuff shoes with newspaper or paper to hold the shape till dry.
4.Leave to dry
5.Remove newspaper and hey presto!

You may have to repeat this process...

WARNING!!!

Could alter shade of suede...

Take my advice... shoes never give in the length only the width! Its impossible to make the length stretch. I have made the same mistake in the past and thought... my toe its touching right at the front but its OK it will give. It never does and months later the shoes still hurt your toes. It was only when I started working in a shoe store I learnt this. I fitted children's shoes and I now know there is nothing more important than correct fitting shoes.

What you will find is different manufacturers make shoes slightly different sizes. That is why you are sometimes a size 40 other times a 41. Style is also an important factor in this. Hope this is some help to you. Take the boots back if you haven't worn them outside and you have the receipt then you should be able to get a refund.

Stuff them with damp scrunched up news paper and leave over night. When you put them on the next day they should start to mould to your feet. Repeat this until they feel comfotable and they will fit you like a glove.
