Before you even get the guts to fork over $8 for an over the counter at home pregnancy test, how do you you are pregnant? What are some signs you had?

Hi,
Some signs are sore breats, lower back pains, a change in your period, sometimes you will have it only for a day when you use to have it for a week, being tired, and also your areolas,( around your nipples) will be darker, and you may be craving foods.
you may also have headaches. You may also have vaginal discharge like what you get before you start you period.
But may I just let you know that sometimes when you are really stressed out about it, wondering "am I? " "maybe I'm not" all the stress helps produce those symptons.
So my best advice is to go get a test, or check your town because they have free clinics where you can go,get a test for free, and no one has to know.
If your not ready to be going threw this, And if this becomes a false alarm, please use protection, they have a lot of cool things you can use now, where you can still have fun, and be protected, you can also get protection from free clinics.
I hope I helped :)

With my first child, I didn't have any syjmptoms for me to even suspect I was pregnant, and since I didn't keep track of my periods as diligently as I should have, I was just sitting at the bar one day thinking, 'gee, it's been awhile since I had a period.' I went to the store that night and bought a test, which was positive. So, I didn't have any signs except a missed period.

With my current pregnancy, what tipped me off was how moody I got after I didn't eat on my lunch break, which is not at all unsual for me to skip eating and do other things with my meal time. I was being unreasonable and grumpy and the only thing I could think of that was wrong with me is that I was hungry, and that's not like me. I took a test the next day, I didn't even wait for me to miss my period, and it came up positive.

Everybody is different when it comes to the way their body tells them they are pregnant, so just listen to your body and if things seem different to you, then be on the safe side and take a test anyway

There is truly no way to know without a test (which you can get at Wal-mart for under $4, and on ebay for around $1 each if you buy in bulk). For my first pregnancy, I had sore breasts and was extremely tired, but I was nearly ten weeks pregnant before it occurred to me to take a pregnancy test--my periods were pretty irregular, and it wasn't uncommon for me to skip one altogether. On top of that, for the first four months I felt like my period was going to start 'any minute', so I just thought I was having another late period, brought on by a bought of flu.

Symptoms like nausea, sore breasts, fatigue, and sensitivity to smells are common in early pregnancy, but all of those are also common if you happen to have a migraine and PMS at the same time, so the only way to know for sure is to take a pregnancy test.

You may not know until you get the test. With both of my pregnancies, I had "feeling", but we had been trying, too. The tests didn't come back positive til 3-4 days after I'd missed my period, though, so I'd wait til then before doing the test.

I missed my period. I just knew. The next week after not getting my period I started to feel tired and weird to my stomach. I took a test and sure enough I was pregnant.

Some people don't get any kind of signs. About the only sign that you can be pretty sure of, is if you don't start your period. Some people get morning sickness, nausea, heartburn, sore breasts, lightheaded, feeling sleepy, etc. It really depends on the person though
