Ebay is the main online auction site, yahoo has one as well. I have sold Civil War Medals and books on it. That site is getting more expensive and maybe less effective than what it used to be.

wow all of the other poeple that answered dont know anything. ebay is an online auction where you can buy anything from pencils, to cars; even property. you cn sell items on ebay by signing up you will need a credit card though). You usually pay by paypal, which is a special credit card account or your normal one for ebay where it takes the money out of it (or puts it in if you sell something) automatically. ebay is usually safe but there are people that use it as a scam.

It is an online marketplace. You can find almost anything that you want to buy. Some of the things you are looking for, you can pay for right away, and others you must be the highest bidder. You can also sell items that you own. I am new to ebay, but I think that it is great and that you can get things a lot cheaper than in stores, and it only takes a few days for your purchases to arrive.

It's a really cool online auction site where you can spend a paycheck at super sonic speed. But you can get some really good stuff there.
