I had a very hard time with T-Mobile in the past. I have been with Verizon for about a year. I'm pretty sure I can do this. I'm just not sure how exactly. Any comments would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

You CAN NOT do it. The sidekick (T-Mobile) uses GSM technology, and Verizon uses CDMA. They are not compatible with each other, I am sorry to say that if anyone tells you otherwise, they don't know what they are talking about. CDMA phones will only work for the service provider that they are made for, while GSM phones can be unlocked and work on any GSM carrier, so if you want the sidekick but hate T-Mobile your only option is to buy the phone (which will be more $$$ than what a T-Mobile customer will pay) unlock it, and activate it on Cingular. The closest you are going to get to a sidekick on Verizon is the LG EN-V. If you still have doubts of what I am telling you call or go to a Verizon store, and tell them how do you activate a sidekick on Verizon, they will tell you it is not possible.

Like lopez said, it's not possible. The Sidekick is a GSM phone(uses a SIM card), and Verizon uses CDMA phones(don't use sim cards). They are two completely different technologies that are not complatible with each other. The first two people that answered do not know what they are talking about.

impossible. Verizon won't in any respect, on no account, on no account turn on yet another CMDA telephone on their community. EVER. And, the telephone's you point out (Sidekick 3, etc.) are GSM. Verizon is CMDA. GSM and CMDA at the instant are not properly suited. T-cellular makes use of GSM. Verizon makes use of CDMA. yet another be conscious, Sidekick internet, digital mail, etc. basically artwork on T-cellular in any case via fact the Sidekick makes use of T-cellular servers for the internet.

You can. But most features on the SideKick will not work.
I think if you buy one and dont use it with TMobile, you can only call, recieve calls, and text message.
I was considering doing this, but i found out that above.
