How do I remove word/numbers on a photo that I did not put on.

If you have photoshop you can take them out with a clone tool, and clone the area around the word/numbers to make it like the rest of the photo....I'm sorry, but I've only worked with photoshop, in the description you may want to put what photo program you have and that may get you the best answer for this question. (if you don't know....open a photo and see what program opens it.)

Normally by using a copy brush that moves similar blank background from near by in the image. If the photo is copyright protected, removing the lettering does not make it free.

you mean like the name of the file itself? well you can right click and go down to rename and put whatever name you like. If your talking about a picture that as number or letters on the picture itself then you have to use a little art work and edit it out, by using paint shop or something smiler.

In photoshop with a combination between the "stamp" and the "healing" tool. "Copy and drag" from a layer is also a good idea.
