HP Pavilion 510n I rebooted it and now it just makes loud sounds of reading but sounds bad and its vibrates when i hold it to make the sounds stop.

1. Open the case and use a can of compressed air to clean it out. It's likely clogged with dust. MAKE SURE THE COMPUTER IS OFF.

2. If it is still making the noise after it has been cleaned, check to see if the fans are spinning.

3. If the fans are spinning, check to see if you have a CD in the CD-ROM drive. This can cause it to make "reading" noises.

4. If the above do not work, you might have a problem with your hard drive.

Possibly cpu fan. If the processor is heating up due to improper cooling. It will cause the processor to throttle and slow itself down as a protective measure.

Make sure that the heatsink is seated properly and that the fan is correctly mounted onto the heatsink. But don't remove the heatsink! If you due then you will have to reapply the thermal compound before reinstalling it.

holy crap my computer does the same thing!!! cept it doesnt really run slow just an annoying fan just let it pass itll go and come if ur running a large program that has to load up then it might start

May b ur FAN is dead, or may b ur DISPLAY chip or 3d device (i.e card) or may b in some rear cases RAMS gone, change ur desktop and buy new one in reasonable prices , here are some DELL's Machines ,,,, i hope u will find my answer useful,
