THINK HARD!!

I'm NOT asking what the Republicans have done for Iraq with everything they gave them.

What have the Republicans done for America in the last 12 months?

Hard to answer, isn't it?

Very easy to answer. It has removed all doubt that they care about legal Americans. They have more support for drug smugglers that our own citizens. Putting border guards in jail illegally. They have removed all doubt about corruption in government just look at Bush,Cheney, Rove, Libby and a long list of others. They have removed all doubt that the republican party can be counted on by citizens in time of need. Just look at Katrina and the quick response to those in need. I certainly have learned more about government than I ever wanted to know.
They have supported Mexico over it's own citizens and sold out the country.

Zilch-o. The 109th Congress is one of the most inefficient, corrupt pack of bozos ever. They even let key deductions expire on the 10-40 forms this past session, only to reinstate them AFTER the IRS published its tax forms, so millions of dollars will go unclaimed.

As for the statement about Republicans giving more to charity than Dems, 1) GOPsters have more money; 2) The ability to write them off as tax deductions is the primary motivator; 3) Many give back to their own churches, communities, etc. so you know they'll essentially get it put back into their own pockets. Many Dems are suffering through the GOP's policies with barely enough to scrape up cash for their kid's colleges, so there ya go.

In short....about the only real thing Republicans have done is remind thinking Americans about how much more the Dems do on a regular basis.

They renamed dozens of post offices .Bush signed anti spam laws . We got a forest bill that allows loggers more access to old growth trees in an effort to curb wild fires that have killed 22 people burned 800,000 acres and destroyed some 7,000 structures .
Energy bill that reversed years of regulations passed in the 70's with the clean air act allowing even longer periods of time to clean up there act . And giving them money to develop new alternative fuel .Whats say they invest in research and development on their own and pay less profits to share holders that come indirectly from tax payers .
Well you got me started here and I am mad that someone has not put a bullet in georges head yet . I had 2004 picked for his assassination the week of october 11-17 so much for that $1000 bucks 100-1 odds oh well .

Not hard to answer at all. Look at how many attacks there had been on American soil and American interests or political/government posts around the world during the democratic President's term. Now look at how many have happened since 9/11 (which was a problem born from Clinton's presidency). Nice to know you appreciate the security that's been afforded you.

How many jobs have been created in the last 12 months. Republicans didn't necessarily do that, they just got the government out of the way so businesses could expand. Tax cuts work.

That's a very easy answer. Why don't you tell us what the Democrats did in their first 100 hours of changing the world?

The national deficit has been reduced significantly, the economy is greater than it has been in decades, unemployment rates are low, and we've set up an agreement with North Korea regarding their nuclear facilities.

What has either mainstream party done for us, I mean in the last , say, 20 years? The politicians talk a good game but all they care about is their own money and influence.

Hard to answer? Only for a loony lefty. Lower taxes, lower rate of inflation, booming economy, falling unemployment, dropping gas prices, decreasing foreign debt, no further attacks on US soil, shrinking deficit, empowered military, increased social revenues, just to name a few. Not exactly a social scientist, are you?
