A caveman could make a spear-point out of a rock, kill something the size of a house with it and process it into useful products. Very few people around today who could do that.

There are lots of offensive phrases used, usually by the uninformed and/or incapable, to belittle what others do. "No-brainer" has been in use a long time.

I have to agree with Harry Truman that less than 10% of the population does anything useful, the rest are along for the ride. People who belittle the work of others seem always to be at the low-end of the useless majority.

You know, I have actually pondered that before. I think it's slightly offensive...I have substituted different groups in the slogan. Like, "So easy, a black man can do it. - or - So easy, a Catholic can do it." When you put it that way...YIKES!
I'm still on the fence about this...is it irresponsible advertising? or are they trying to make a social statement while selling car insurance? It's hard to tell.

Cavemen were genetically identical to you and me and they were far from stupid. They should do an experiment, drop people naked in the wilderness and give them 5 days living out there before making their way back. Then see how dumb our ancestors really were.

How about "so easy, an inner city high school drop out could do it."? Now THAT would offend!
