It is not dangerous, working without a contract merely means that you are not paying into the system so therefore you would not be entitled to the Spanish pensions and health facilities. You could always pay for private health care as this is much cheaper and you would be covered in case of an accident etc.
Personally I would put an add on the notice board of a local bar or in a shop window to advertise your services. Also look in the local newspapers regularly to see whats available in the jobs section
